Websites that are complying and provide excellent content will be rewarded with top search results.
The problem is that very few websites are adhering to the Core Web vitals. Screaming frog found out that only 15% of the web is estimated to pass the Core Web Vitals assessment. They analyzed 2,500 keywords and 20,000 URLs as part of their study. This creates a great competitive advantage for websites that do pass the assessment. If you are competing with a website with content of a similar excellent quality, you are likely to outrank that website if you score better on the Core Web Vitals assessment.

• First and foremost, take advantage of Google Analytics. Think of Google Analytics as the gateway into Google’s mind. • Second, think carefully and critically about the user experience of your website. This goes beyond the face value numbers being provided on Google Analytics. How good of an experience is my website for the average consumer?

It is a big believer in the saying that terrific page experience lets people get more done and increases engagement. We have seen that with past algorithms, such as the Google Penguin, Google Panda and Mobile-First. Google used these algorithms to penalized websites that fell below the benchmarks, especially in the areas of website speed and mobile optimization.
